Jesse Lewis, founder of Independent Ingredients, graduated from Clemson University in 1990 with a Food Science degree and immediately after graduating entered the industrial food ingredients sales industry. 10 years later he started Independent Ingredients and partnered with Industrial Commodities to take advantage of their tremendous warehouse network and supply of commodities. Over the last 30 years he has built strong relationships with customers and vendors. Independent Ingredients has grown to be one of the premier ingredient brokerage houses in the U.S. Jesse’s knowledge and expertise ensures his customers that he can find innovative approaches to customer issues.

Kelly handles the operations of the business overseeing customer service, logistics and accounting. Kelly graduated from Clemson University and also has 30 years of serving customer’s needs
